WAFA midfielder Majeed Ashmeru has declared his intention of playing for Kumasi Asante Kotoko if the opportunity becomes available.
Ashmeru, 20, has laid bare his future intentions fueling rumours that he is likely to join the Porcupine Warriors next season.
"It is my been my dream to play for either Kotoko or Hearts," Ashimeru told Kumasi based Abusua FM
"But I really like Asante Kotoko and I wanted to sign for them during the last transfer window"
"I admire Kotoko because of the supporters of the club but for I play for another bigger club, WAFA" he concluded.
The talented midfielder was on the wish list of many European sides but an injury layoff thwarted his efforts.
He has currently scored twice goals in the ongoing Ghanaian top-flight league.
