In-form WAFA attacker Daniel Lomotey has reiterated his delight with his team’s 1-2 victory over Elmina Sharks on match day 11 of the Ghana Premier League at the Papa Kwesi Ndoum Stadium on Sunday.

Lomotey has been in sublime form for the Academy boys in the ongoing campaign where has scored five in 11 matches to propel his side to the summit of the log.

The skillful attacker was at his best again on Sunday in their 1-2 win over league debutantes Elmina Sharks as he bagged a brace in the first half before substitute Samuel got the consolation for the home side at the depth.

“We thank God for this wonderful win he has given us. We knew that it wouldn’t be easy to play against such a determined side in front of their fans but through hard work and determination we prevailed.”

“We feel so excited because it’s not easy to play in this division with relatively young players and we being on top of the log feels great.”
