WAFA SC midfielder Andrews Ntim Manu urges Ghana FA to continue 2019/2020 league campaign

West Africa Football Academy midfielder Andrews Ntim Manu has urged the Ghana FA to continue 2019/2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.

The activities of football in the country remain suspended as government has extended the ban on social gatherings until 31 July 2020 as a measure to fight the widespread of the coronavirus.

The Ghana Premier League and all other football competitions have put on hold since 15 March 2020.

The 19-year-old midfielder has been instrumental for the Academy lads having featured 14 times in the Ghana league this season and scoring once.

Manu emerged man of the match when WAFA SC drew 0-0 with giants Hearts of Oak.

"I want the FA to continue the Ghana Premier League season because we were determined and ready for success looking at our performance,: he told Kumasi based OTEC FM.

"Our away performance tells how best we are, So for me, the league must continue."

There are divided opinions as to whether the 2019/2020 football season be cancelled or continued as the ban on social gatherings remain intact.
