WAFA made a winning start to their campaign at the Tournoi International du District d’Abidjan beating Racing Club D'Abidjan 1-0 on Thursday at Stade Robert-Champroux.
Haruna Jamal scored the only goal of the match.
The U17 side will face Rwandan side Isonga FC on Friday.
Their final Group B match will be against Ivory Coast's U17 side on Saturday.
