WAFA star Daniel Lomotey is hoping to get a call-up to the Black Stars following his impressive goal scoring form in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

Lomotey scored again on Sunday to help his side secure a 1-1 draw against Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko at the Sogakope Park.

He has been on a goal-scoring spree this season as he scored four goals against Medeama in that nine-goal thriller.

The 21-year old credited his goal scoring heroics against Medeama to coach Prosper Narteh.

The youngster is dreaming of playing for the senior national team and hopes his exploits will be noticed by Coach Akonnor and his technical team.

"It’s every player's dream to play for the Blackstars. As far as I’m scoring more goals,it will be a big opportunity to play for the Blackstars because it has always been my biggest dream", Lomotey told Kumasi FM.

"I’m working tirelessly to score more goals to earn it and if I’m called, I will be very glad".

The Ghana U20 forward currently leads the Ghana Premier League goal king race with eight goals after matchday nine.
