Ghana Premier League side West African Football Academy (WAFA) have temporarily suspended defender Ransford Darko for absconding from camp.
A club statement read: ''Management of #WAFAcademySC after a lengthy deliberation about your unprofessional conduct of absconding from the Academy’s premises on the 7th February, 2021 finds it necessary to expedite action so as to curb future recurrence of such behavior.
''You are therefore suspended temporarily from indulging in any football related program with any football club until an amicable solution is reached. ''
Darko, a centre-back, has made one league appearance this season in their 1-0 defeat to Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium.
