WAFA forward Eric Asamany has spoken about his role model being Juventus' star forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
Asamany was a key cogs for WAFA in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League before the enforced coronavirus break.
The 22-year-old poacher carved a niche for himself with late equalizers and match-winning goals in the campaign, netting 4 goals in 15 games.
In an interview with Sportcorna, Asamany revealed that his source of inspiration in the game has been five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.
The youngster says he has his feet firmly on the ground and he's ready to make his mark in world football as the Portuguese superstar.
“We’ve got very good talented players but I believe I look up to my team mates who are the best I could say but internationally everyone knows Cristiano Ronaldo has been my idol” he said.
