Ghanaian forward Stephen Sarfo is on the verge of securing a deal with Tunisian giants Club  Africain.

The former Berekum Chelsea forward is set to join the Tunisian club after terminating his contract with Egyptian side Smouha, a fortnight ago.

Stephen Sarfo has been in negotiations with officials of the club and it is believed the Ghanaian is close to agreeing a deal with them as he continues with his career abroad.

The prolific striker was a top target of both Hearts of Oak and Kotoko after his exploits as the WAFU Cup of nations, where he emerged the top scorer, bagging a brace in the 4-1 thrashing of Nigeria in the final.

The 26 year old came close to joining Kuwaiti side Al Qadsia before moving to Egypt to sign for FC Smouha.

However, with lack of game time in Egypt he terminated his contract with the club.
