The 2013 Wafu Nations Cup final will be played today.

Organisers of the ongoing Wafu GoTv tournament have decided to open free gates for the final and third-place games on Thursday to boost fans spectatoring, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

Local fans in Kumasi and travelling supporters from the Burkina Faso, Benin, Togo and other neighbhouring countries will be able to attend the third-place game between Benin and Togo as well as the grand finale for free.

Hosts Ghana will face surprise favourites Senegal in the GoTV Wafu Cup final on Thursday at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The tournament has recorded low fan attendance at the Baba Yara Stadium mainly due to poor publicity.
