Mahatma Otoo insists he is ready to power Hearts of Oak to yet another victory against rivals Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

The 19-year-old striker has just returned from his successful adventures with the national U-23 team at the All Africa Games where Ghana won gold.

His red-hot form was epitomized at the games in Maputo, Mozambique where he emerged as the tournament's top scorer with four goals from five matches played.

However there have been growing concerns especially from the Hearts fans who fear their leading marksman might be fatigued from the just ended tournament and therefore would not be available for the pre-season friendly showdown with Kotoko but Otoo has allayed all this fears by putting himself up for selection.

"I just came from a tournament but I am in good form and in right shape to play against Kotoko if only my club wants me to," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

"I am under contract with Hearts and therefore I cannot pick and choose the games so if they want me to play then I am ever ready to do so."

The ex Sporting Mirren player also believes Hearts have an edge over the bitterest rivals going into Sunday's game considering they have had a lot of joy playing away to their opponents.

"Sure, we are beating Kotoko especially with the game being played in Kumasi where we have always had the upper hand so I am really looking forward to a win on Sunday."
