Home Stars are setting their sights high as they prepare to face Accra Hearts of Oak in the FA Cup.
Fresh off their victory against Legon Cities in the previous round, the team’s administrative manager, Emil Atandoh, exuded confidence ahead of the crucial clash.
"We are not coming to play just the game Hearts of Oak we are going to meet we are not going to just play we have prepared very well. We want to eliminate Hearts yes we are coming to Accra to beat Hearts the it will be popular because if you beat Hearts it will go viral because Hearts are continental masters," Atandoh remarked in an interview with Happy FM, as monitored by Ghanasoccernet.com.
The match is scheduled to take place on Sunday, January 12th, at the University of Ghana Stadium. Home Stars hope their performance will not only eliminate the "continental masters" but also cement their name in Ghanaian football history.
"If Home Stars are able to beat Hearts a lot of people will know... we are here to make a statement," Atandoh boldly declared.
