Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has expressed his satisfaction with Ghana's current position in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
After beating Madagascar 3-0 in Morocco, Addo praised his team's exceptional work ethic, solid defense, and decisive execution of free kicks.
Thomas Partey's brace and Mohammed Kudus' goal secured Ghana's second win in as many matches, establishing a five-point lead atop Group I standings.
Captain Jordan Ayew also made history with a hat-trick of assists, leading the African continent's World Cup qualification assist chart.
Addo acknowledged that there is still much work to be done but expressed happiness with Ghana's current position.
"The work ethic today was exceptional... there is still a lot of work to do, but I think we are happy we are in a good position."
Ghana aim to qualify for the FIFA World Cup for the fifth time.
