Accra Lions CEO Oliver König has expressed his pride in the club’s new partnership with Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, set to begin in June 2025.
The collaboration aims to enhance both clubs' international reach while focusing on the development of young football talent.
“We are proud to have a renowned Bundesliga club like Eintracht Frankfurt by our side,” said König.
He highlighted the immense benefits the partnership will bring to Accra Lions, stating that it offers opportunities for both sports and personal development for their players and coaches.
"We see this as a great opportunity for cultural exchange between two football-loving countries that goes far beyond football-specific topics," he added.
Founded in 2015, Accra Lions finished second in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League with one of the youngest teams in professional football.
The club's emphasis on youth development and a modern training facility has helped it gain recognition both locally and internationally.
The partnership will also allow Eintracht Frankfurt to scout talented players from West Africa, particularly from Accra Lions, and support their growth through knowledge sharing and improved training conditions.
