Vision FC Coach Nana Kwaku Agyemang insists his team was the better side despite sharing spoils with Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.
Both teams produced a thrilling 1-1 draw on Sunday afternoon at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema Newtown in week 27 of the Ghanaian top-flight.
The visitors, Hearts, broke into the lead in the 38th minute with defender Kelvin Osei Asibey.
The advantage, however, was not to last. Just three minutes into the second half, Vision responded through Meschack Sowah Adjetey, who netted with a composed finish following persistent pressure from the home side.
“We had a game plan and the game plan could have worked easily, we created more chances than Hearts of Oak, we should have taken our chances but we didn’t. Hearts of Oak game into this game with only one game plan. We dominated the game, but unfortunately for us, we couldn’t utilize our chances” he said.
Vision FC are 14th on the Ghana Premier League standings, accumulating 30 points, while Hearts of Oak sit sixth on the table with 41 points after 27 matches.
