Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has emphasized the importance of focusing on the future and qualifying for the World Cup, rather than dwelling on past disappointments.
Addo acknowledged that Ghana's failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) was a setback, but stressed that it's crucial to look forward.
"We can't change the past. We have to look forward and use this position in which we are now to qualify for the World Cup."
The Black Stars have been impressive in the World Cup qualifiers under Addo's leadership, winning all four games he has been in charge. Their latest victory was a 3-0 win over Madagascar, which extended their lead at the top of Group I.
Addo urged his team to remain focused and continue working hard to secure their spot in the World Cup.
"Like I said, it is not done yet. We still have to work hard. This is football, [and] things can turn very fast," he said.
