Dreams FC assistant coach Wilfred Domod says his team expected a difficult game against Asante Kotoko, who are pushing hard for the league title.
"It was a very very tough game we knew before hand Kotoko is going to give us a big challenge because they were fighting for the league. If you do a comparative analysis they were more determined to win this game to better their chances or aspirations of winning the league," as aired by Peace FM.
Dreams FC lost 4-1 to Kotoko on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Albert Amoah scored the opener in the 17th minute, followed by two goals from Kwame Opoku, one from a fast counter and another clever lob. Opoku now has 10 goals this season.
Jonathan Nemorden pulled one back for Dreams early in the second half, but Wisdom Fernando Bassey ended any hopes of a comeback with Kotoko’s fourth late in the game.
Dreams FC will face Berekum Chelsea in their next league match on May 25.
