We need to be mentally tough to win the league at the end of the season – Kotoko coach Prosper Ogum

The head coach of Asante Kotoko, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has opened up on what his team needs to win the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title.

According to him, it will take a lot of mental toughness to win as many points as possible in the remaining games of the season to ensure the ambition to clinch the league title is achieved.

“There are some games to go. You will never know what will happen. The game is full of surprises. We have to put ourselves together mentally. Seven more games to go, you never know what will happen.

“I think the key thing now is our mental toughness. We have to put ourselves together mentally,” coach Prosper Narteh Ogum said.

Asante Kotoko have recently dipped in form, failing to win any of their last three matches in the Ghana Premier League.

On Wednesday, the team suffered a shocking 3-0 defeat to Accra Lions in their outstanding Week 22 fixture of the campaign.

Up next for the Kumasi-based club, the team will take on Nations FC on April 20.
