The head coach of Hearts of Oak, Aboubakar Ouattara has called on fans to stick with the team following the difficult start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The coach and his team remain winless after the first two matches in the new league campaign.
After a narrow 1-0 defeat to Basake Holy Stars, Hearts of Oak subsequently lost 2-1 to Heart of Lions on matchday two.
Speaking in a pre-match interview ahead of his team’s matchday 3 clash against Bechem United, Coach Aboubakar Ouattara has urged fans to continue supporting his side.
According to him, the team can only achieve success if the fans stick with the team.
“We are preparing. We have played two matches, we didn’t get a chance to win and we are thinking about it. I think the things we can ask our fans, they are disappointed but I think we have a long way to go. We need to be together and think about the same goal to achieve,” Coach Aboubakar Ouattara said in an interview on Hearts TV on YouTube.
The match between Hearts of Oak and Bechem United is scheduled for Sunday, September 22.
The match will kick off at 6 pm at the Legon Sports Stadium.
Coach Aboubakar Ouattara will be eager to steer Hearts of Oak to victory over Bechem United this weekend to offload some of the early pressure.
