Black Princesses coach Charles Sampson has outlined his long-term vision for the team, emphasising the need for a strong team culture, disciplined tactical structure, and a competitive mindset.
Sampson expressed confidence in the talent at his disposal but acknowledged the need for improvement in key areas.
"Technically, I was amazed to see the sort of talent we have," he said. "But I noticed that we lack in tactical areas and the physical aspect of the game. Individual talent is there in abundance, but to get the team to function as a unit is something we need to work on."
Sampson's priority is to qualify for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup and make it past the group stage for the first time.
"Our first priority is to qualify for the World Cup, then we also have another goal, which is to progress beyond the group stage for the first time," he added.
Sampson is committed to developing a strong team culture and disciplined tactical structure, while also improving the physical and tactical aspects of the game. He is determined to bring success to Ghana's U-20 women's team.
"I'm humbled with the appointment, and I will do the best I can to bring success to my country."
