Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara has expressed his disappointment following defeat to Aduana Football Club in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians succumbed to a 2-0 defeat on Wednesday afternoon from their outstanding Premier League Week 22 fixture.

Aduana FC took control early and broke the deadlock in the 31st minute through their captain, Sam Adams, who calmly slotted home to give the hosts a deserved lead.

The home team sealed the victory late in the game when Ivorian forward Abdel Latif Bamba, introduced in the 78th minute, scored with a clinical finish in the 88th minute to make it 2-0.

After the game, the Ivorian tactician raised concerns about the performance of his players, saying Aduana FC were the better side.

“Aduana played well. We didn’t play football. We gave them all the chances to score us. We played badly against Aduana. Truth be told, we were not good at all. We made a lot of mistakes in the game and that cost us the defeat. We were punished by our mistakes. We didn’t run at all in the game and I will let my players know” he said.

Aduana FC are currently 11th on the Ghana Premier League table with 35 points whiles Hearts of Oak sit 7th spot with 41 points.
