Dreams FC head coach Abdul Karim Zito believes his team should have taken a commanding lead in the first half of their 1-0 win over Accra Lions in the Ghana Premier League.
Coach Zito felt that his team created enough scoring opportunities to be up by between three to five goals at halftime.
"When you watch the first half, we should have scored about 3, 4, or 5 goals," he said.
Despite dominating the first half, Dreams FC struggled in the second half, with Coach Zito admitting that they were "jittery."
However, the team managed to hold on for a crucial 1-0 win.
The victory has propelled Dreams FC to 14th place on the league table with 16 points, giving them a much-needed lifeline in their fight to avoid relegation.
The former FA Cup champions are hoping to build on the crucial win to secure their place in the top flight with last season’s struggles fresh on their minds.
