Head coach of Ashantigold Thomas Duah says his team is ready to represent Ghana in African should the opportunity come.

The future of the Ghana Premier League remains uncertain following the outbreak of COVID-19.

However, government has eased restriction with individual sports asked to start training and football could return only after July 31st.

The Miners finished the first round of the GPL in fifth place, but Thomas Dah says the idea of representing Ghana in Africa is something they have discussed about as a team.

"My team is ready to compete in Africa, the technical team and management have discussed this, and should the opportunity come, we will go again and make sure we do better than we did the last time," he told Oyerepa FM.

The 'Aboakese' lads represented Ghana in the CAF Confederation Cup last season before they were eliminated by Moroccan side RS Berkane.
