Hearts of Oak forward Kwabena Boateng has reiterated his outfits desire to annex the Ghana Premier league title despite their inconsistent performance.
The Phobians has struggled to find their rhythm in their last five, winning just one, drawing two and losing two in the process.
Boateng, who joined the Phobians last summer was in action when the side succumbed to a 2-0 defeat on Wednesday afternoon from their outstanding Premier League Week 22 fixture.
Aduana FC took control early and broke the deadlock in the 31st minute through their captain, Sam Adams, who calmly slotted home to give the hosts a deserved lead.
The home team sealed the victory late in the game when Ivorian forward Abdel Latif Bamba, introduced in the 78th minute, scored with a clinical finish in the 88th minute to make it 2-0.
Despite the setback, Boateng has reiterated the sides desire to secure the Premier League title at the end of the season.
“We want to win the league. At the moment, there is nothing say we have to until the end of the season and see what happens” he said after the game.
Hearts of Oak have dropped to the 7th position following their defeat to Aduana Football Club, accumulating 41 points from 27 matches.
