Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has praised his team's defensive performance in their 3-0 win over Madagascar in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Ghana's victory, which came courtesy of Thomas Partey's brace and Mohammed Kudus' goal, was built on a solid defensive display.

Addo highlighted his team's exceptional work ethic and defensive solidity, saying, "The work ethic today was exceptional. We, defensively, were very solid, and I was happy with that."

Ghana's win over Madagascar marked their second victory in as many matches in the latest international window, establishing a five-point lead atop Group I standings.

With this win, Ghana inches closer to securing qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, aiming to qualify for the fifth time.
