Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito has acknowledged the tough challenge ahead as his side prepares to face Bibiani GoldStars in a pivotal Ghana Premier League encounter.

The Porcupine Warriors will travel to the DUN’s Park on Sunday, May 25, for their Matchday 32 fixture — a match with major title implications as both sides remain firmly in contention for the 2024/25 league crown.

With just three games left in the season, every point is crucial. Zito, who has maintained an unbeaten record since taking over as head coach, is approaching the match with measured respect for their opponents.

“The approach will be very serious, but we should admit it; we are going to meet one of the best teams in the league on Sunday," Zito said.

“They are very good and they have more advantage by playing at home, so it doubles our task in meeting them, so we are preparing towards that," he added.

Zito highlighted the challenge of playing away, noting the impact of home support for GoldStars as a potential game-changer.

Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00 GMT.
