Hearts of Oak assistant coach Nana Yaw Amankwah says the technical team of the club are determined to change the fortunes of the Phobians.
The Phobians started the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign on a poor note, succumbing to two consecutive defeats after two games.
The Ghanaian giants shockingly suffered a 1-0 defeat in their opening game against debutants Basake Holy Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium followed by a 2-0 loss to Heart of Lions on Sunday.
Last season, the former Premier League champions faced challenges after finishing 14th on the standings at the end of the campaign.
After poor run of results this term, Nana Amankwah insists they have nothing to do than to turn the fortunes of the club around.
“We will fight to turn the fortunes of Hearts of Oak. That is our mission for the season and we are hoping things will be fine. There is no pressure and as coaches, we are trying as much as we can to change the situation of Hearts of Oak. We have nothing to do unless we change the situation”
Hearts of Oak will face Bechem United in week 3 of the Ghana Premier League this weekend.
