Bechem United's assistant coach, Seth Osei, has made a bold statement ahead of the team's Ghana Premier League match against Accra Lions.
Despite being on a two-game losing streak, Osei is confident that his team can avoid another defeat.
"We are hoping for the best and doing everything possible for the players to pick up in the game against Accra Lions," Osei said. He urged fans to come out and support the team, adding, "Come what may, we won’t lose on Sunday," although the match is actually scheduled for Saturday, April 26, at Accra Sports Stadium.
Osei acknowledged the team's struggles, saying, "It's normal in a league season. Sometimes the results won't go your way. We have spoken to the players and we have urged them to fight to ensure we get at least a point."
Bechem United will be looking to end their losing streak and pick up crucial points in the league.
