West Ham United are pushing to complete the signing of Dutch forward Brian Brobbey in the coming days.

The English Premier League club is keen on securing the services of the striker who is of Ghanaian descent to strengthen its squad in the remainder of the 2024/25 football season.

According to Africasoccer.com, West Ham United officials have been in contact with Ajax since Thursday negotiating a deal for the forward.

Although the Dutch Eredivisie club is open to sanctioning the loan transfer of Brian Brobbey, the club wants to include in the deal an obligation for West Ham to make the move permanent next summer.

It is understood that once the Hammers can agree to the condition, the deal will be completed.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur are believed to have pulled out of the race to sign Brian Brobbey.

The club does not deem the conditions presented by Ajax as favourable and has decided to look elsewhere for a new striker.

The next few days will provide more clarity on the next destination of Brian Brobbey.
