West Ham United co-chairman David Sullivan has confirmed Liverpool striker Christian Benteke is at the top of his club's shopping list this summer.
Benteke joined the Reds from Aston Villa last offseason for a fee of £32.5million, but has struggled to recapture his best form at Anfield.
Sullivan indicated the Hammers will make a move for the unsettled Belgian international, but his £120,000-a-week salary could prove to be an obstacle too big to overcome for the East London cub.
"The problem is he is on such a huge wage that no club can afford him. But he is a player that we admire," said Sullivan.
