Ghanaian youth sensation Christian Atsu Twasam scored a spectacular consolation goal for Rio Ave who recorded a humiliating 5-1 loss at giants Benfica.
The 19-year capitalised on an opportunity against the run of play to shoot past Benfica keeper Artur Moraes to open the scoring for Rio Ave.
But Benfica staged an inspiring performance to score five goals and claimed their tenth victory of the season.
This marks Atsu's third league goal of the season in 11 games.
Atsu is on a season-long loan from Portuguese champions FC Porto.
He was voted Porto best young player for 2011.
