Red Star Belgrade fans are over the moon following the splendid display by Ghana winger Osman Bukari in the UEFA Champions League game against Pyunik on Wednesday night.

The Black Stars forward netted a sensational hat-trick and provided an assist as the Serbian giants brushed aside the Armenia side in the first-leg of their tie.

His performances got Red Star's Maracana loud as fans chanted his name while others asked who brought the winger to the club.

Red Star have been unlucky with foreigners in recent times and there were doubts about the arrival of the Ghanaian, who had been deemed surplus to requirement at Gent.

Van la Parre, Ebesili, Falk were some of the foreigners that failed to glitter at the Serbian club.

Osman Bukari revived his career after spending last season on loan at French outfit FC Nantes, where he helped the Yellow Canneries with the Coupe de France.

Marko Marin, a former player of Red Star is responsible for the acquisition of the speedster.

The Black Stars player has now scored five goals in five games since joining the club in the summer transfer window.
