Hearts of Oak winger Winful Cobbinah says the team is prepared to welcome new signings to strengthen the side ahead of the new season.

The Phobians are expected to make at least five signings during this transfer period.

Coach Herbert Addo has received approval from the club’s board to pursue his transfer targets.

Inter Allies star Prosper Kassim, Samuel Afful of Hasaacas and Aduana Stars goalkeeper Stephen Adams are said to be top of Addo’s wish list.

And winger Winful Cobbinah says all signings will be welcomed to help the team achieve laurels in the coming season.

“We are always prepared to welcome any player who will improve the squad,” he said.

“It will also increase competition in the team so we await all the signings.”

Hearts have not won the Ghana Premier League since 2009 and have had to endure the agony of watching their arch rivals Asante Kotoko dominate the domestic scene for the past three seasons.
