World Cup 2010: Andre Ayew hails Ghana team unity

Ghana midfielder Andre Dede Ayew says his team's ''incomparable'' unity should see them scale over Australia on Saturday in their second Group D match.

The Black Stars can secure a quick-than-expected qualification to the last 16 with victory in Rustenburg.

The 20-year-old made a flying start on his World Cup debut by playing a key role in Ghana's 1-0 win over Serbia.

He believes the high team spirit should guarantee them passage to the second round of the tournament.

"I think the unity is really good and everybody is fighting for each other. There is a good mixture between the young and the old ones. The old ones are helping the young ones who are bringing the energy and the fighting spirit  and that should continue," Dede said.

"It's going to be a difficult game ahead of us and we need to stay focus and we need to fight us a team and we know what is coming."

Ayew knows will be difficult to beat the Socceroos despite a heavily 4-1 battering at the hands of Germany in their Group opener.

"Australia lost against Germany and that doesn't mean anything. It's part of football-Sometimes you have difficult lose that makes you stronger. We have to stay as team, fight as a team and know that it's going to be a difficult game and fight fight harder than the Serbia match."
