World Cup 2010: Genoa confirm Kevin Boateng interest

Genoa President Enrico Preziosi has confirmed their interest in Ghana World Cup star Kevin Prince Boateng.

"Boateng? We’ll see what we can do about him," the patron told the Corriere dello Sport newspaper.

The £7.5m-rated German-born midfielder was impressive at the World Cup where he helped Ghana reach the quarter-final stage.

Cash-trapped Portsmouth will only accept immediate payment in cash before releasing their player.

Fellow Serie A side Lazio had also shown an interest.
