Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has described his two-year stint in-charge of the Black Stars as a success despite failing to win a title.
The Serb was bridesmaid at the inaugural 2009 CHAN final in Ivory Coast and at the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations in Angola.
He also guided the Black Stars to the quarter-final at this year's World Cup finals after a disappointed exit via penalty shoot-out to Uruguay.
Rajevac has been credited for transforming Ghana into a well-organised, disciplined team.
"I have been working for two years with the Ghana team and I am very happy to be working in such a strong football country," he said.
"Early on we had to change a lot of things. I presented my ideas and then we followed these ideas and we tried to play as well as the best European teams.
"We wanted to play as a team and not as individuals. We were the first African team to qualify for the World Cup and we played in the final at this year's Africa Cup of Nations."
Rajevac's contract expires next month but it is still unknown if the Ghana FA will be willing to extend his stay.
