United States coach Bob Bradley has heaped praise on the Ghana team who deservedly progressed to the quarter-final stage of the World Cup in Rustenburg on Saturday night.
Bradley's side conceded an extra-time goal from striker Asamoah Gyan in a 2-1 defeat and he did not hide his admiration for the African side.
"Ghana has a talented team and the coach Milovan Rajevac has done well to organize the team," the 52-year-old said at a post match conference.
"We're disappointed we couldn't take it further but this is a terrific group and we're proud
"We knew Ghana was a good team and we didn't get the job done. It is a stinging, tough defeat."
Ghana beat the Americans by the same score line to eliminate them from the Group stage at the last tournament in Germany four years ago.
