World Cup 2018:Uganda coach Micho describes Group B as the clash of the titans

Published on: 25 June 2016

After the 2018 World Cup Draw yesterday in Cairo, head coach of the Cranes of Uganda Milutin Micho Sredojevic had only a few words to describe Group B; the clash of the titans.

The group involving Nigeria, Algeria, Cameroon and Zambia has been described by many pundits as the ‘Group of Death’ but Micho has rather chosen the clash of the titans.

Speaking to Ghanasoccernet.com on the draw done on Friday afternoon, Micho said “When I look at the other groups they are all balanced except Group B where we have the clash of the titans.

“In Group A, DR Congo and Tunisia are favorites while Ivory Coast is the favorites in Group C with Senegal also being the favorites in Group D.

“For us (Uganda) we are in a group where Ghana and Egypt are favorites but we are looking forward to be a hard nut to crack for the others.

Uganda have been paired with Ghana, Congo and Egypt in Group E.
