Xherdan Shaqiri feels justified over his decision to move to Stoke City.
The Swiss was criticised in Germany and his homeland for quitting Inter Milan for the Potters in August.
But the former Bayern Munich attacker told the Telegraph: "It was an important decision for me to come to a place where I can be myself and where I feel comfortable.
"Now I hope to play with continuity and get back to my level, I hope it will happen soon.
"It 's normal when you have a big name and people know you around the world and wonder why you went to one team rather than another. But I'm happy to be here and I know I made the right decision.
"I feel good."
