Yahaya Mohammed to AshantiGold is 80% done - Aduana Stars scribe reveals

Communications Director of Aduana Stars Evans Oppong has disclosed negotiation between his outfit and AshantiGold SC for striker Yahaya Mohammed is almost done.

Mohammed gave a good account of himself in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League before the campaign was truncated due to the coronavirus pandemic.

His performances for the Fire Boys earned him a maiden call up into the Black Stars for their double-header 2021 Afcon qualifiers against Sudan.

Widespread report indicate that AshantiGold are on the heels on the experienced forward as the Len Clay Stadium outfit are looking to bolster their team for next season's CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

Speaking on the media report, Aduana Stars spokesman, Evans Oppong intimated that their live-wire is on the verge of joining the Miners.

“Yahaya Mohamed move to Ashgold is 80% done and is a season loan," he told Light FM.

Mohammed scored 11 goals in 15 games for Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League last season.
