Asante Kotoko defender Yaw Frimpong says he is not bitter over his exclusion from the Black Stars squad for this month's double header.

The impressive right-full back was shockingly dropped from the team at the last hour after he was named in the 22-man squad to face Sudan and Nigeria.

The Ghana Federation has remained tight-lipped on the reasons for leaving out the 23-year-old from the team.

"I am not disappointed because I believe my time will come at the right time," Frimpong told Ghanasoccernet.com exclusively.

"I am with my team preparing for our Premier League match against Tem Youth and that’s where my concentration is at the moment.

"The coach and the authorities know best and so I just have to be patient and see what the future holds.

He added that: "God knows best and so let leave it that way."
