Ex Ghana international Yaw Preko has urged coaches to look their best during local games.

There have been a lot of concerns raised about the decency in the dress code of coaches cited on the touch lines especially for Premier League games.

The trend is however changing with the infusion of young former internationals getting more and more involved with coaching in the local scene.

Coaches like Maxwell Konadu and C.K Akunnor have definitely raised the bar in terms of dress code during games.

But Preko, 37, who is not impressed with the balance  has urged more coaches to be sharply dressed taking the climatic conditions into account befitting the profession.

"As a coach I believe you should be presentable because the game has advanced," he said.

"Your players will even laugh at you if your are improperly dressed.

"It doesn't always have to be a jacket and a tie due to the weather conditions but even a nice T-shirt will do for me.

"If they (coaches) don't have wives, they better get some so their dressing is checked by their partners to improve the game."
