Yaya Mohammed is a unique player despite his age – Aduana Stars chief Albert Commey

The CEO of Aduana Stars, Albert Yaya Commey says Yaya Mohammed is a unique player that is why the club signed him despite his age.

The CEO had earlier revealed that the club will not be renewing the contract of players whose age bracket is beyond twenty-five.

It therefore appeared strange when the club signed former Asante Kotoko midfielder Yaya Mohammed who is twenty-seven years.

But Albert Commey insists that Yaya is a uniquely special player whose qualities are unmatched.

“Of course Yaya’s age goes beyond our bracket but he is a unique player. He is a versatile player who can play in defense, midfield and attack,” Commey said.

“If you look at his mental attitude and physical stature, he is a special player. He is a player who always want to win and get money and if you have a player like that, he always encourages the team to win.”

Yaya Moahmmed is one of three players who will begin a new marriage with the Dormaa-based side next season, with former Kotoko team mate Richard Mpong and Stephen Anokye Badu formerly of BA United.
