Young Apostles coach Asare Bediako aims for victory over Kotoko

The head coach of Young Apostles, Joseph Asare Bediako is pumped up ahead of his team’s encounter against Asante Kotoko.

The Ghana Premier League newcomers will take on the Porcupine Warriors next weekend in a Week 3 contest of the 2024/25 campaign.

Looking ahead to the game, Coach Joseph Asare Bediako admits that the challenge will be tough but is aiming for the first win for his side in the Ghanaian top-flight league.

"We are yet to win a match but playing Asante Kotoko will be a different ball game,” Coach Joseph Asare Bediako said.

The Week 3 clash between Asante Kotoko and Young Apostles will be played at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.

The two teams have stepped up preparations for the upcoming meeting in hopes of earning all three points.

Asante Kotoko, one of Ghana’s most successful clubs will head into the contest as the favourite to come out with victory.

It is up to the newcomers to show resilience and hunger on the matchday to stand any chance of picking a point or all points.

The highly-anticipated clash is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm on Sunday, September 22.
