Ghanaian youngster David Accam made his debut for Helsingborg IF in a 2-0 pre-season friendly win over Sunderland at the Olympia Stadium.

The 21-year-old, who completed his switch from second-tier side Ostersunds FK to the Swedish champions on Wednesday, was handed a starting berth in midfield and he overly impressed.

The former Right to Dream Academy graduate believes the game was a good measure for him.

"It means a lot. They are premiership players and now I know where I stand in terms of that level. I was playing against Richardson," he told GHANASoccernet.com

He will fully join Helsingborg in January 2013.
