Young Ghanaian midfielder Douglas Owusu has once again earned a spot in the Serbian Prva Liga Team of the Week - his second consecutive appearance - following another exceptional display for FK Radnik Surdulica.
The 19-year-old continued to impress on Sunday in a thrilling 3-3 draw against Graficar Beograd during matchday 34 of the campaign.
Owusu, who played a pivotal role in midfield, registered yet another assist - his sixth of the season - when he set up Radnik’s third goal in a game filled with drama and attacking flair.
His ability to consistently influence matches in the final third is quickly becoming one of Radnik’s key strengths as they pursue promotion to the Serbian Super Liga.
The former Asekem FC star has now tallied two goals and six assists across 29 league appearances in his debut European season.
His latest recognition further cements his reputation as one of the most exciting young talents in the Serbian second tier.
Named among the league’s top performers for two weeks running, Owusu’s inclusion alongside standout players from clubs like Mladost GAT, Macva Sabac, and Graficar Beograd highlights his growing influence and consistency.
If he maintains this form, Owusu could soon attract attention from clubs beyond Serbia. His journey is just beginning, but the signs are undeniably promising.
