Former Asante Kotoko SC midfielder, Yusif Alhassan Chibsah says he is ready to accept any role to serve the club when given appointment.

Chibsah hanged his boots from football in 2017 and is currently a accredited FIFA Intermediary.

Local media reports on Tuesday suggest he has been pencilled for the International Relations role at Asante Kotoko in the yet to be formed new management.

The Manhyia three-member Committee investigating the affairs of Kotoko recommended him to the current board of Directors, a close source has told GHANAsoccernet.com

Chibsah disclosed that he cannot reject a call to serve the club in any capacity.

"I can’t refuse any appointment from Kotoko, I will gladly accept any role especially that which is in line with my career path," Chibsah told Oyerepa FM in Kumasi.

The 37-year-old is the country representative for Strike, the Portuguese apparel manufacturing company that partners with Asante Kotoko.

Further information indicates the current management members have been asked to reapply for their positions by the board of directors.
