Carlos Alcaraz became US Open champions after defeating Casper Ruud in the final on Sunday, September 11.
Alcaraz celebrated a 6-4 2-6 7-6(1) 6-3 victory over Ruud and claimed his US Open title.
Following the win, the 19-year-old earned his place as World No.1 in the ATP Rankings.
Taking to Twitter, Alcaraz shared a message: “I’m lost for words at right now! I just want to keep dreaming!”
