Chelsea Identify French Forward As Aubameyang Replacement

Martin Terrier netted over 20 goals in the Ligue 1 last season to impress Chelsea have now lined up for a deal ahead of January.

Though yet to make a National team appearance for France, Terrier remains a threat in enemies’ box, enjoying a flourishing reign last season.

The player has already netted 8 goals in 11 Ligue 1 games, drawing the attention of Fulham based club, Chelsea as they look to fire up their attacking lines.

The Blues have seen their attacking line of Raheem Sterling and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang produce less goals than expected with the side currently placed on the 7th place.

A chance to drop into the 10th place stare right in Chelsea’s face with a game against Newcastle United in hand as they just sit 2 points above the 10th place.

Chelsea will need to submit around $45m to buyout his contract that is yet to expire by 2026 as the 25-year-old not too long ago did commit longer time to the club.

With Graham Potter recently brought to the club, Chelsea will need to give him time to bring in players to fit his system, and Terrier could be the ideal solution for him in attack.
