Cristiano Ronaldo and two of his Manchester United teammates were included in Portugal’s 2022 FIFA World Cup squad.

Fernando Santos has revealed Portugal’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot are included.

Ronaldo, who has endured widespread criticism due to a string of poor performances at Manchester United this season, made the cut, which wouldn’t come as a surprise to many, given his quality.

Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot, who are regular starters under Erik ten Hag, are included in the squad – decisions that were boldly written in the sky.

According to Portugal’s first team’s official Twitter handle, below is the squad Fernando Santos will travel to Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Manchester United transfer target Joao Felix was also included, despite his lack of playing time due to his ongoing intense relationship with Diego Simeone at Atletico Madrid.

Portugal will face Nigeria next week in an international friendly in their preparation for the upcoming World Cup.

Like Fernandes, Dalot, and Ronaldo, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford are also heading to Qatar for the World Cup after they made Gareth Southgate’s cut. Check the full squad here.
