Eddie Hearn, promoter of undefeated light heavyweight (79.4kg) fighter Joshua Buatsi (16-0, 13 KOs) said he has made an offer for a fight to the team of WBA world champion Dmitry Bivol (20-0, 11 KOs).
We want Buatsi to fight Bivol. We made Bivol an offer and now we want to make sure it suits him. Hopefully, we can organize that fight. There’s no deal yet, nothing has been signed yet,” Hearn said in an interview with the YouTube channel Pro Boxing Fans.
Joshua Buatsi is 29 years old. The fighter made his professional ring debut as an Olympic bronze medallist in Rio de Janeiro in July 2017. In his last fight in May, Buatsi defeated former opponent Bivol and compatriot Craig Richards (17-3-1, 10 KOs) by unanimous decision.
